| IN SUPPORT OF OUR TROOPS
by Evelyn Heinz Do you wave the American flag outside every day In support of our troops who are far away? We wake up and busily go about our day, When some of them are in harms way. Many have been badly injured, many of them died. No one can bring those back, while family members cried! Politicians sit in Washington and argue if they should be there or not. The sad thing is are troops are there and should not be forgot. Our flag is hanging near my front door and......... And will be, till our troops are back from this war. A big yellow ribbon hangs out front around my white birch tree In support of our troops who are willing to fight for you and me. |
