| One Last Time
Those last few moments we spent together before he had to travel far away from me I tried hard but couldn't hold back my tears My knowing I will be lonely and so will he. He turned his head and wiped his tears away I knew his heart was hurting the same as mine He whispered in my ear he'd always love me Then he tightly hugged me one last time. Before I walked away feeling terribly miserably I stood teary eyed watching his horse galloping away Each night in my prayer's I will ask God to please Protect him and send him back to me one future day.
