| RESPONSE TO MICHELIN RUBBER PLANTAION |
| It's been a while since I have written to you, but when I watched and read about the
Plantation where I served at with the 4TH. Infantry Div, as a Grunt, that is where I earned my CIB, 2 Bronze Stars, Medal of Valor, but most of all I earned my manhood at the age of 18 at the Michelin Rubber Plantation . This is where I lost my friends, and I think my mind, as the pain has never left of Vietnam and the Michelin Rubber Plantation as I have nightmares of "Body Bags " piled up,and the cry of the wounded and the just plain scared young men from the Michelin Rubber Plantation. | Hello I to was a soldier in the Michelin Rubber Plantation with the
196th Light Infantry Brigade and proud to have served my country then and I am also a Korean Veteran. I received this letter from my Virgil and although I didn't know the persons named in this attachment I thought you would like to hear some one else who was there.
